This is a fantastic site, the lodges are modern, clean and very comfortable. It is only a small walk to the lake and there are many lovely strolls to take from your door. Countryside - unbeatable. Chris the site manager was very friendly and helpful with information prior to arrival, and even with children and dogs it was still a calm and relaxing stay. We are just about to book again for next year!!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bassenthwaite Lakeside Lodges, the location was excellent, the accommodation very smart and the weather was fantastic!

If you want a nice romantic break away from the rest of the world then Basingthwaite Lakes is the place to go. Fantastic break

This site was beautiful, picturesque and peaceful. It was within easy reach of main towns and the information provided by the staff was of the highest value for sight seeing and getting the most out of the idyllic surroundings.
